Mariela can now be a birth attendant!

Mariela is from the community of Wichimi in Ecuador. She walked for many hours to attend the Safe Birth and Family Health workshop in Kurinua. Mariela wants to learn how to become a trained birth attendant as she has aspirations to help the women in her community. She carried back the birth kits to Wichimi to help two women who are currently pregnant there.  Thanks to your donation, these two pregnant women in Wichimi can be rest assured that their births will be safe!
