Mery is ready for her baby

Mery is from Wampuik, a community located in the province of Morona Santiago, Ecuador. Mery attended a Safe Birth and Family Health workshop hosted by Jungle Mamas in her community and learned many things that will increase the confidence she has in having a safe birth for her upcoming child. She now knows a great deal more about basic health, hygiene and family planning through the rhythm method. Mery was thankful for this opportunity to learn, both for the sake of her as well as her family’s well being, and she hopes to continue learning in the future.
