New birth kit prepares Isabel for a safe and healthy pregnancy

Isabel was one of the lively women who participated in the Safe Birth and Family Health Workshop that Jungle Mamas ran this past June in the community of Wampuik, a community located in the province of Morona Santiago, Ecuador. These workshops are primarily given to pregnant women of the territory and aim to provide basic education in women’s and community health and well-being, human reproduction and family planning, and most importantly, in how to execute a safe birth. These women live in communities that are far out of reach of any hospital. Thank you so much, UBS, for supporting Isabel in bringing her baby into this world and for your solidarity with Jungle Mamas!
