In June 2012, Jungle Mamas went to Wampuik, a village in the Ecuadorian province of Morona Santiago, to run a Safe Birth and Family Health workshop. Margarita was happy to be part of this unique experience and came out of it with much more than she expected. She is now prepared to deliver her baby in safe conditions and is more informed regarding basic health, safe birth and eco-sanitation. She is eternally grateful for your birth kit donation, Tomoko. These kits have played an important role in changing the health conditions of the Wampuik community.
